No ads. Never sold.

We don't show ads or sell your data — not to you, not to your family. The messages and photos you send are never analysed, mined or shared. The screen is a quiet corner of the house, not a data machine.

UK-hosted, walled off

Your messages and photos live on UK servers, kept behind the scenes and off the public web — they can't be browsed or scraped by anyone with a link.

Nothing for them to log in to

The recipient's screen just shows what you send. There's no account on the tablet to hack or phish, and none of their personal details live on the device.

You're always in control

Delete any message, or your whole account, whenever you want. Ask us to erase everything and we remove every message, photo and record within 30 days — and email to confirm it's done.

Things people ask before signing up.

Will it work on a really old iPad?
Most of the time, yes — even an iPad 2 from 2011. Family Screens was built and tested to run on Safari versions going back nearly a decade. That said, some older devices and browsers occasionally don't play nicely. We help you set it up, and if your specific screen won't run it we'll suggest one that will (see our compatibility note).
Does it stay on all the time?
Yes. Family Screens runs 24/7 — the screen sits there day and night, ready for whoever glances at it. You can set a schedule to dim it overnight, black it out fully, or leave it on around the clock — adjustable any time from the sender dashboard. The page itself never sleeps and never needs reloading.
Does my parent need to set anything up?
No. You set the screen up once — open the URL, lock the screen on, leave it. They never touch it again. There's no login, no app, no notifications. They just look at it.
How do I send messages?
From a simple web form on your phone (bookmark it like an app). A Telegram bot for sending on the go is coming soon — handy when you want to fire something off in seconds while on the move.
How quickly does a message reach the screen?
Usually within 10–20 seconds. The screen checks for new content on every slide change, so the next time it cycles round, your message is there. No refresh, no app push, no waiting.
Can my whole family post messages?
Yes. Add anyone — siblings, grandchildren, the cleaner, the carer — and each message gets stamped with who sent it. One subscription covers everyone.
What if their wifi goes down?
The screen keeps showing the last messages it has. When the wifi comes back, it picks up new ones automatically. No "could not connect" error pages — we built around that.
Can I schedule messages?
Yes — set a message to appear from a future date, or only between two dates (like "appearing for birthday week"). The toggle stays on; the schedule does the work.
Is it private?
Yes. Each family has a unique passcode for the update form. We don't sell data, run ads, or share your messages. Plain-English privacy policy, no fine print.
What if I get stuck setting it up?
Drop us a note through the support form and a real person will reply — usually the same day. If we can't sort it over email we'll get on a call. If your particular screen genuinely won't run it, we'll point you at the cheapest one that will. No tech know-how needed at your end.
Can I cancel anytime?
In one click. We keep your messages and uploaded photos for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind, then delete everything.
What if I need to use it on multiple screens?
Two different things to know here. Mirroring — showing the same messages on several screens in the same home, e.g. kitchen iPad plus hallway tablet plus bedroom TV — is unlimited on every plan. They all run the same feed for one subscription. Separate streams — say a different feed for Mum at one address and Dad at another — is what the higher plans cover. Connect Plus gives you 2 separate streams, Connect Family gives you 4. No need for second subscriptions.
What about a video call instead?
Family Screens isn't replacing FaceTime. It's for the moments between — the daily reminders, the photos you'd send if you were in the room, the small "thinking of you" notes that don't warrant a phone call.
What if they have dementia or can't use a tablet?
This is exactly who Family Screens is built for. They never tap anything. They never log in. They never get a notification. The screen sits there showing whatever you've sent, on a loop — a photo, a reminder, a "I'm thinking of you". They just glance at it. If they're at a stage where a tablet feels overwhelming or confusing, that's a sign Family Screens might help more than most things, not less.
